Tedd started his advertising career at Far West Media, a direct response advertising agency, in Long Beach, CA over 18 years ago. After running sales for several years and helping successfully grow agency revenues by over 400%, Tedd made the decision to start Pacific Media Group (PMG) in 2004. For over nine years, Tedd oversaw all aspects of the business including sales, media buying, creative and account management. During this time, he managed many successful campaigns and became an expert in direct response radio, TV and digital advertising. In March of 2012, he successfully merged PMG with Philip Yancey to form the current Converze Media Group. Since then, Converze has rapidly grown into one of the leading direct response advertising agencies in the United States. Converze has a wide range of clients with substantial expertise in the following verticals: financial services, education, medical, legal, home services and consumer goods. Tedd is currently responsible for running sales along with the day to day operations of the business.
Managing Partner
Over 20 years of success in the advertising/marketing industry. Throughout those 20+ years, Philip has worked for some of the largest radio stations in the country and built multi-million dollar marketing campaigns for some of the best known companies in the world. Industry experience, knowledge, personal competitiveness and a client first approach have given Philip the ability to build one of the most successful direct response advertising agencies in the country. His desire to deliver the best analytical platform for Converze Media clients has established CMG as an unparalleled partner in the DR space. Philip believes the way to be the best is to be client focused, innovative and have great people around you on a daily basis.
Controller
Daniel has been with Converze Media since 2014 and comes to us with extensive experience with both Fortune 500 companies and small start ups. Daniel leads the finance group for the agency and has done a terrific job managing hundreds of millions of client dollars over the years. He has developed great relationships with both clients and media partners. His unique attention to detail has proved invaluable as the agency has dealt with tremendous growth. Daniel is an alumnus of Eastern Michigan University.
Senior Account Manager
Jennifer LOVES direct response (DR). She began her career in 2009, starting at a DR agency and never looked back! She has managed accounts of all sizes, ranging in categories from retail, e-commerce, financial services, medical, and education- just to name a few. She wears many hats for her clients, but none more important than strategist. With ample data and a passion for growth, she meticulously OPTIMIZES campaigns and scales industry share, all while delivering reliable, replicate-able, consistent results. Regardless of the medium (radio or tv) and the demo (general market or Hispanic). Jennifer partners with her clients to understand their business and meet return.
VP Sales
Chris Mullane is native to Buffalo, N.Y, and attended Daemon College in Buffalo N.Y. in 2000. He has several years of experience in sales and management. While at Converze, Chris has also worked with several direct response advertisers across several verticals by managing costs, goals and delivering ROI. Chris has been with Converze Media dating back to the company’s early growth stages. Chris has been and is a skilled producer within the Converze Media Group's sales team by implementing his unique, vast skill set in new business development methods that have contributed to the agency's rapid growth allowing Converze Media Group to become one of the nation’s top DR media planning and buying agencies while now making the Inc. 5000 list three years consecutively (2019, 2020, 2021).
Senior Account Manager
Jason brings over 23 years of media experience to Converze with a unique background in both radio programming/production and advertising. For the last 12 years Jason has been developing and growing advertising campaigns from the ground up using a diversified portfolio of radio, TV, podcasts and digital components to exceed the clients’ metrics in an everchanging media landscape. Having run campaigns for almost every category and every size budget, he knows how to maximize the client's dollars to get the highest ROI. Jason holds a degree in Film and Electronic Arts with an emphasis on electronic media from Cal State Long Beach.
Senior Media Director, TV
Julie has over 14 years of experience launching and developing national television campaigns with a strong background in direct response. Julie brings a level of service and value to Converze with her wide range of experience by managing a media department at a large independent buying agency in which she focused on controlling all national rate structures, pricing needs and strategic planning for all brands within the agencies’ portfolio.
Senior Broadcast Buyer
Miracle brings her vast experience in Traditional Media and Direct Response experience, both in English and Spanish to ConverZe Media Group. Her experience taught her that she LOVES working in the Media industry, it's her passion! She can be seen helping a client scale up their portfolio or activate a media buy or build a media performance report, whatever it is, the common thread throughout her media journey is her genuine enthusiasm in seeing a media plan works for the client and consumers.
Account Manager
For eight years, Jason has worked with numerous clients in the advertising industry to help them achieve their goals. He knows that every client is different, and uses a “be like water” approach to adapt to their specific needs. Whether that requires thinking outside the box to find a creative solution to their concerns, or working closely with vendors to get his clients the best possible ROI, Jason excels at making sure his clients thrive. Since joining Converze Media Group in 2021, Jason has continued to build and maintain relationships with both clients and vendors to develop a sense of trust and lasting partnerships. Jason holds a degree in Communication Studies from Cal State Northridge.

Tony Marx has 25+ years in direct response advertising and is highly experienced with Terrestrial and Streaming Radio/Podcasting/TV/OTT/Programmatic and Digital Advertising campaigns. Tony works with clients in a vast array of verticals to help them achieve their CPC, CPL, CPA, and ROAS goals. He works every day with our buyers, creative and analytics teams to further improve metrics for his clients, while exploring new opportunities to help them stay one step ahead of their competition and help significantly increase their ROI. Tony looks forward to taking your product, business or service to the next level!
Office Manager
Lauren started with Converze Media in 2016. She brings commitment, diligence and takes tremendous pride in her contribution to our team. When humbly describing her role, she maintains day-to-day office operations, helps organize and facilitate projects - like specifically assisting on the development of our new proprietary system - and works HR to create the best team on the west coast!
Although her day to day ranges from an onboarding, company outings and routine reporting; it’s this variety that challenges Lauren to bring the most to Converze (there are never too many hats to wear at this office!).
Senior Director, Business Development
Stephanie's career has been focused on driving new revenue channels at the intersection of media, advertising and technology. She has a passion for finding and creating first-in-market advertising opportunities for clients. After managing literary talent and producing a series of telefilms for CBS that still air today, she sold predictive analytics to the film studios and networks that analyzed their potential ratings performance. CBS then asked her to join as Vice President, Marketing, where she served for 7 years, reporting directly to the CMO in New York. There, she created the media plans and positioning for CBS' primetime shows and digital extensions, and created multi-million dollar partnerships with companies including Intel. Her passion for technology brought her to Silicon Valley, where she created first-in-marketplace digital video products. She launched and sold the industry's first cross-screen video programmatic offering for PubMatic, and then served as Global Head of Marketing, overseeing 19 offices and their transition to programmatic for YuMe, now Tremor. After YuMe's successful sale, she worked for Technicolor and more recently, has launched new revenue channels for start-ups based in Silicon Valley. She has served on Intel's Consumer Board of Advisors, Greenspring's Venture Fund, and has received a number of industry awards for her work.

Senior Media Analyst
Erick started at Converze Media in 2014. Due in large to his heavily inquisitive mind, hard work and proven performance he is the Head of Media Analytics. He brings an almost feverish passion to optimize each campaign he touches and/or manages to get clients the best possible ROI. He has also worked diligently to build and manage a team of data-driven individuals to help optimize all clients across Converze Media. His team is comprised of like-minded people with backgrounds in digital analytics, information management or simply sales minded individuals.
In addition to being heavily involved in most of our accounts, Erick also maintains involvement in a few of our key categories: education, financial services and small businesses. Over the years, Erick lives by one simple question: “How can I make this better?”

Enjoys like no other to strategically produce creative and piece together forward-thinking DR media schedules. When she is not out cycling on a gorgeous Cali day, she is researching for innovative ways to exceed her client’s expectations AND foremost within BUDGET.
Prior to joining Converze, her career in was in Social Media with brands such as Daisy sour cream and promoting the LA Phil at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Since then at Converze, she expanded her portfolio to include both TV and Radio campaigns. Whether it’s general market/Hispanic- long and short form or out of home billboards, Lupe strives to find the perfect media mix. Just ask her about launching the TV/OTT department, her accounts were the first to market and the first to scale! You can find bits of Lupe scattered across the multiple house accounts at the agency over the past 6 years - her enthusiasm and competitive spirit are unrivaled.

Monique “Mo” joined Converze Media seven years ago.As an early member of the company, she quickly established herself as a Senior Account Manager. Mo is often described as meticulous and organized, and she tokens this as the key to her success. She specializes in general market, Hispanic, endorsements, network and local buying just to name a few. She works quickly and diligently to implement campaign strategies, help increase performance and exceed client goals and expectations. Mo has built strong trusting relationships with both her clients (many of whom have been with her since the beginning) and vendors in her time at Converze Media. Monique is an alumna of California State University of Northridge with a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations.
Senior Account Manager
Stefan brings five years of account management and buying experience to the Converze team- working with clients in the Education, Mortgage, Home Improvement, and the Men’s Health space. He specializes in local radio and endorsements and has vast experience with network, general market, and Sirius XM. Strong relationships and communication with media vendors allow him to actively monitor and adjust his placements and clearance, which leads to his clients’ constant success. Stefan is accountable and honest – always working for what’s best for his respective clients. Stefan is extremely involved in the creative process and has launched successful PR and Interview tours across the Nation over the years. Stefan has a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Oregon.
Senior Director of Business Development
Justin is a native of Orange County, CA and has been a senior account executive with Converze Media since 2014. Justin has extensive experience working with many direct response and branding advertisers across multiple verticals including home improvement, payroll services, SaaS, e-commerce, and financial services. While at Converze, Justin has consistently been a top producer within the Converze Media Group's sales team and prides himself on building and maintaining long-term client relationships. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Cal State Long Beach and currently resides just outside of Dallas, TX with his wife and young daughter.
Chief Creative Director

Carilyn works with our Converze team and clients to bring their brand and name to consumers nationwide. Her unique background from first working as a media buyer for a small ad agency gives her understanding on how to bridge our client's message to their customers.
Since 2010, we have partnered with Carilyn and her production company, Modern Art Pictures, to create television commercials for some of our most successful clients. They have produced spots for a wide variety of organizations including Optima Tax Relief, Dodge's SRT-4, University of La Verne, University of Southern California, The Sims and Lego Dimensions video games, web series for ABC's Body of Proof and the title sequence for FX's Sons of Anarchy.
Senior Account Executive
Been a part of the Converze Media family since early 2015. Has the ability to manage multiple clients at once thanks to his background in Construction Management and Engineering. Jeff offers exceptional communication skills and is very easy to get along with. Since joining Converze Media, Jeff has always been eager to learn new initiatives including copy writing, Google Analytics and data optimizations.
Graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA with a bachelors degree in Construction Management. Before his time with Converze Media, he was managing multiple teams on several multi $100M construction projects across the United States and Canada. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as rooting for his New York Yankees and New York Giants sports teams.
Account Executive
Gaurav is a native of Sacramento, CA, who joined Converze Media in 2024 as an Account Executive. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Sports Business and Marketing. During his time at ASU, Gaurav interned with ASU Athletics, where he was introduced to the world of marketing.
Prior to joining Converze, Gaurav worked in programmatic advertising, achieving significant success and playing a key role in building up a West Coast territory. He has a strong background in digital marketing and media, which fuels his passion for the industry. Gaurav loves building relationships and meeting new people, making him a great asset to the Converze team.
